Same 158Wh. More ports. Easier removal.

The Ravion® Battery Gen 2 keeps what made the original the go-to clip-on power pack for Starlink Mini — 158Wh, no loose cables, IP65 — and adds what owners asked for: wired Ethernet with the battery installed, USB-C power for your laptop, and a handle that releases in one move.

Integrated connectors plug straight into Starlink Mini, and dual latches hold the pack in place until you squeeze the quick-release handle. A built-in RJ45 pass-through lets you run a router, network switch or Ethernet adapter without pulling the battery. The 60W USB-C PD port works both ways — recharge the battery from a USB-C charger, or power a phone, tablet or laptop — with up to 120W combined output alongside Starlink Mini. Pass-through charging keeps the dish live while you recharge, and a 1/4"-20 thread plus four non-slip feet let it stand on a table or ride a tripod. At 158Wh it flies carry-on only, with your airline’s approval.

Built for the field, not the shelf.

Every Gen 2 change answers one question: what gets in the way when you’re actually using Starlink Mini off-grid?

🌐

Built-In Ethernet Access

A built-in RJ45 plug and external RJ45 socket carry wired networking through the battery. Connect a router, network switch or Ethernet adapter without removing it — the original battery covered the port.

🔌

60W USB-C PD In & Out

Recharge the battery from a USB-C PD charger, or use it to charge phones, tablets and laptops in the field.

⚡

120W Combined Output

Run Starlink Mini from the DC side and a USB-C device at the same time, up to 120W total within each port’s limit. 158Wh lithium-ion, 18V nominal.

🔓

Quick-Release Handle

Dual latches lock the battery to Starlink Mini and release together with one squeeze — easier on and off than the original design.

📐

Built-In 1/4"-20 Mount

A standard threaded insert fits camera tripods, light stands and clamps, while four non-slip feet keep it steady on a table, hood or deck.

💧

IP65 + Pass-Through Charging

Dust-tight and protected against water jets for rain and spray. Keep Starlink Mini running while you recharge from DC 12–30V or USB-C. Not submersible — keep ports dry before charging.

FAQ for the Ravion® Battery Gen 2.

What is the difference between the Ravion Battery Gen 2 and the original?
Both hold 158Wh. Gen 2 adds a built-in RJ45 Ethernet pass-through (the original covers the Ethernet port), 60W USB-C PD input and output, up to 120W combined output, a dual-latch quick-release handle and a built-in 1/4"-20 tripod mount. Gen 2 weighs 3.09 lbs vs. 2.6 lbs, and it ships with charging cables instead of a wall charger.
How long does the Ravion Battery Gen 2 run Starlink Mini?
With the same 158Wh capacity as the original, expect roughly 6–9 hours in light use and about 4.5 hours at a steady 30 W (158 Wh × 0.85 ÷ 30 W). Runtime depends on signal load, usage, ambient temperature, and whether you are also powering a device from the USB-C port.
Can I use wired Ethernet with the battery installed?
Yes. Gen 2 has a built-in RJ45 plug and an external RJ45 socket, so you can connect a router, network switch or Ethernet adapter without removing the battery.
Can it charge my laptop or phone?
Yes. The USB-C PD port delivers up to 60W to phones, tablets and laptops, and you can power Starlink Mini and a USB-C device at the same time (up to 120W combined).
How do I charge the Ravion Battery Gen 2?
Use a USB-C PD charger (up to 60W) with the included USB-C cable, or a 12–30V DC source through the DC5521 input with the included DC-to-DC cable. The Ravion 60W High-Speed Charger also works. Pass-through charging keeps Starlink Mini running while it charges. No wall charger is included.
Is the Ravion Battery Gen 2 allowed on airplanes?
Yes, with your airline’s approval. At 158Wh it sits in the FAA’s 101–160Wh band — carry-on only, never checked, and the airline has to clear it first. The FAA caps these at two per passenger. If you would rather not ask, the 99Wh Ravion® Battery Lite needs no approval.
Is it waterproof?
It is IP65 rated — dust-tight and resistant to water jets, built for rain and spray. It is not submersible; keep the ports dry before charging.
What is the warranty and return policy?
12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects — repair or replacement at no charge. Plus a 30-day return window for a full refund or exchange.
