Does the Ravion battery support pass-through charging?
Yes. Pass-through charging is fully supported. You can plug the included 60W charger or a compatible solar panel into the Ravion® battery while Starlink Mini continues running. This eliminates downtime entirely when a power source is available.
Is the Ravion battery allowed on airplanes?
Yes — at 158Wh, the Ravion® Battery falls just under the FAA 160Wh carry-on limit and is approved for carry-on luggage. It cannot be transported in checked baggage. Always verify with your specific airline before travel, as policies can vary.
Is the Ravion battery waterproof?
Yes. The Ravion® Battery carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is fully dustproof and resistant to water jets from any direction. It is built for rain, marine spray, desert sand, and outdoor conditions. Standard submersion is not covered by IP65.
Will installing the Ravion battery block my Ethernet port?
Yes. The clip-on form factor covers the RJ45 Ethernet port on Starlink Mini when the battery is attached. If wired Ethernet connectivity is required, the battery needs to be removed. Wi-Fi operation and all other functions remain unaffected.
