Setup Guide

Ready in Seconds.

Four steps from your glovebox to full Starlink connectivity on the move.

01
🚗

Connect to Vehicle

Plug into your 12V or 24V DC outlet — cigarette lighter, Anderson connector, or direct terminal.

02
🔋

Connect to Battery

Plug the output cable into your Ravion® Battery charging port. No settings to adjust.

03
⚡

Charging Begins

Regulated DC-DC conversion starts instantly. LED indicator confirms active charging.

04
📡

Starlink Stays Online

Ravion Battery charges while powering Starlink Mini simultaneously — zero downtime on the road.

Built-In Safety

4-Way Protection.

Your Ravion Battery and Starlink Mini protected at every level — source to load.

⚡

Over-Current (OCP)

Automatically limits current if draw exceeds safe levels. Prevents wire damage and component failure in high-demand situations.

📈

Over-Voltage (OVP)

Shuts down output if input voltage spikes beyond safe thresholds — common in older vehicles and generators with unstable supply.

🌡️

Over-Temperature (OTP)

Aluminum heat-sink actively dissipates heat. If internal temp exceeds safe limits, OTP throttles output to protect the unit.

🛡️

Short-Circuit (SCP)

Immediately cuts output in any short-circuit event, protecting both the Ravion Battery and the adapter from failure.

Common Questions

Adapter FAQ.

Everything you need to know before connecting.

What vehicles is this compatible with?+
Works with any 12V or 24V vehicle or mobile system — cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, campervans, boats, and overlanding rigs. If your vehicle has a standard cigarette lighter socket, Anderson plug, or direct DC terminal, you're ready with no modifications required.
Can I charge the battery while Starlink Mini is running?+
Yes — this is the intended use case. The DC adapter charges the Ravion Battery while the battery simultaneously powers Starlink Mini via pass-through charging. Your connection stays live indefinitely while the vehicle is running, with the battery topping up in the background.
What does the aluminum enclosure actually do?+
The CNC-machined aluminum enclosure acts as an integrated heat sink, passively dissipating thermal load from DC-DC conversion during extended use. Without effective heat management, converters throttle or shut down under continuous load. The aluminum body keeps the adapter running cool and stable even in hot vehicles or direct sunlight.
Do I need any tools or extra cables?+
No. Connect one end to your 12V or 24V source and the other to your Ravion Battery — that's it. No programming, no settings, no additional hardware. The full kit is included in the box.
Will this work with solar panels or portable power stations?+
Yes, as long as the solar charge controller or power station outputs regulated 12V or 24V DC. Jackery, EcoFlow, Bluetti, and Goal Zero units with a 12V DC output port are compatible. This makes the adapter ideal for fully off-grid setups where grid power is never available.
