Step one: find out what your roof is actually made of

Step two: place it for sky, not for height
The Starlink Mini needs an unobstructed view of the sky along the arc its satellites travel. Will it stay on? On clean steel with full magnet contact, a properly seated magnetic mount holds a Mini at normal road speeds.
